Oscar Isberian Rugs Welcomes Industry Veteran Karen Lawrence

We’re thrilled to announce the appointment of Karen Lawrence to the Oscar Isberian Rugs/ Pedian Carpets sales team.

Karen has extensive experience in the rug and carpeting industries, spending 33 years as a buyer and sales professional at Village Carpets. Known for her impeccable taste and accommodating approach, Karen says, “Buy what you like is always my rule of thumb.”

Originally from New York City, Karen has lived in Illinois for 46 years, much of that time spent on the North Shore. She confesses that it’s the creative aspect of the industry that always has kept her interests piqued.

“Karen’s experience in the business will be an enormous asset to our team, said Mr. Haig Pedian, head of the Pedian Carpet Galleries for Oscar Isberian Rugs. “She specializes in broadloom carpeting, knows all the quality brands and will always point you in the right direction.”

Karen said that to her, the name Oscar Isberian Rugs always has been synonymous with quality and service. “In my two short months at the company so far, my suspicions have been validated – and then some. It’s a happy business. To be surrounded by such talented people and to help designers and consumers put together pleasing choices to complete a home or special project continues to be so very gratifying.”
