A Night at the Opera
Extraordinary Night at the Lyric Opera
It was truly “Something Wonderful!” Friday, April 29, 2016, the famed Civic Opera House in Chicago set an exquisite stage for Oscar Isberian Rugs’ 2016 customer-appreciation night, as we thanked 150 of our customers at the Lyric Opera’s gorgeous production of Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s “The King and I.”
A pre-show reception in the Graham Room kicked off the elegant evening just prior to curtain time. Guests were welcomed with opening remarks by our own Sark and Oscar Tatosian, who is President of the Guild Board of Lyric Opera of Chicago. We also were privileged to be joined by the General Director of Lyric Opera, Anthony Freud, who shared the mission of Lyric Opera of Chicago, and an invitation to return to next year’s season.
It was especially noteworthy that our guests, interior designers and architects among them, commented on and appreciated the lavish set design, the exquisite costumes, the stunning palette (of course; we’re color people!) and the overall staging of this beautiful production.
Thank you to everyone in attendance for a remarkable night of theater and for your continued and loyal support of Oscar Isberian Rugs. Etc., etc., etc. ~
